I can't seem to get DX objects/widgets to control WMP 10. Is this a known issue, or is there something wrong with my setup?

Desktop X objects, widgets, and gadgets should be able to use WMP as their "engine". I'm not sure what you mean by "control" exactly.

Which widgets in particular are not working? What errors or behavior in particular are you seeing? Are you making your own? In that case are you using DXPlayer or ActiveX control?

Does WMP itself work right for you? If WMP doesn't work, then widgets trying to use it won't work.

Give us a bit more info and I'll bet we can get you going!

I finally got it to work. I'm just using the Silica MP3 player now. Previously, it just did nothing when I tried to get it to play a file. I set it to work with object media, then returned in to WMP, and now it does work. Thanks for your help.
